Ministry Of Literacy In Underserved Communities

WE GIVE THANKS

We give thanks to God for the opportunity to be a part of His ministry of literacy for underserved communities.

We give thanks to Mount Zion Baptist Church and the local Community of Faith for their prayers and support.

We also give thanks to the mayors of the City of Knoxville and Knox County, as well as other public officials who continue to support this ministry.

There are foundations in the City of Knoxville that took a chance on The Literacy Imperative long before its doors were opened in 2003 and for that we are thankful.

Special thanks are given to the local organizations with literacy initiatives that were kind enough to participate in key pilot projects in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2010.

For all of these things and more, we give thanks.
